I have not tried updating the drivers in safe mode. Anyone spy my misstep? This happened once before but I think I fixed it then by reinstalling a driver.

Hello, Thank you for commenting on my post. The touchscreen in the device manager has not got the choice to enable the device, just to update it. I have the HP Support Assistant. I tried them and did what the page suggested. I updated as they suggested. I even tried to calibrate the pen and touch.

No pen and touch was located on my computer.

I’ve read other posts and found none that apply to my situation. I installed a driver update about a year ago and it worked until installing Windows Any idea where to find it or what I can do to get it back? I’ve shut it down and restarted a couple of times and searched for driver updates but to no avail.

So I updated windows 10 to the creators update on my lenovo flex 3 and the touch screen stopped working. In the device manager, no hid compliant touch screen driver windows 10 hp http://replace.me/7584.txt up in the hid devices.

No complint are availabe for the touchscreen because windows 10 doesn’t need drivers for that. Touchscreen now works, and there is an entry again for the hid compliant touchscreen in the device manager. Looking at the entry and chosing properties windows sreen no driver is used, but the event hid compliant touch screen driver windows 10 hp shows the following. Driver Name: input.
