I had similar problem and in my case it was due to a corrupt Microsoft Visual Studio Shell (Isolated) which SSMS 17 requires to run. I cannot find one or more components. Please reinstall the application In my case, it was Microsoft Visual Studio Shell (Isolated). now when i try to then launch from the desktop or all apps list windows 10 , says one or more components could not be found. please reinstall. i reckon it.
