Every three years Intuit forces Quickbooks users to upgrade to their new software or lose access to their online banking info. This is not optional. Every three years I swear to myself that next time I will migrate to a new accounting software because Intuit corp has the WORST customer service on the planet, has buggy online software, and forces you to create an online account to use their desktop program.

I’ve just spent the last hour trying to access my desktop PC accounts because Intuit “software registration” program is so buggy that it won’t work. I can’t say I dislike a company more than Intuit. My accountants still prefer QB, so that’s what I use for my business. They and I also prefer the Desktop version of the product: the whole “software as an annuity” business model leaves me cold.
