I loved this game. The story is very well written and the voice work is great! This game had the best hand to hand combat of a sandbox game I’ve ever played and the gunplay is seemless and powerfull.

I got this for PC and have a system that allows me to boost settings all the way up and lemme tell ya, it’s beautiful!! Especially with the PhysX turned on high. The clothes sway and move the way they would in real life and stuff like explosions and weather effect how it reacts as well. Even without the PhysX the game looks spectacular. But graphics aside, like I said, this game was fun.

I beat the story in about 11 hours of game play with little to no straying from the story so if you choose to look for Playboys and Wanted posters there’s plenty hours of enjoyment.

There are 2 reasons I gave this a 4 instead of 5 stars though. First, no multiplayer. This would’ve been a great game to run around in with your friends either co-op or at least versus. And with so many games including sandbox types having some form of multiplayer these days, it seems it should be standard. The other reason 4 instead of 5 is lack of any side missions. The only real thing to do besides work your way through the story is rob shops which you have to do later in the game anyway.

Yeah there’s a guy who has you steal cars but after the first one he keeps telling me to come back another time. And there’s very little customization as far as clothing however there’s more than you’d expect for car customization so there’s a plus.

Fun game, buy if you like gangster movies and sandbox games. Where to begin? The story was ok The gameplay is ok as well overall. PROS: The graphics are outstanding lighting, shadows, movement, etc. The cars are great; I even like that mid-game the car period changes and you get a new set of cars. The gun types, the shooting, and all involved with the guns are great. The physics are pretty neat much better than the first game.

CONS: There are no motorcycles There aren’t too many times where you can use all the gun types, there are really only a few mainstream weapons and those are the ones used for most missions. The player riding a car and the starting player will be driving the same car and wearing the clothes. There are more exceptions such as opening the Empire Arms Hotel.
